Where is your dwelling place?

Psalms 91:1 says He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. This is our safe place but we must choose to live reside under the shadow of the Almighty. We are the lessor living under the greater one. However, if not growing in Christ through the reading of His word and spending time alone with Him, we will not discover the secret dwelling place of the Almighty. Keep in mind, time saved by not spending time with the Lord isn’t the mature way, and isn’t His will for us; forgoing protection. Exodus 25:8-9 says God’s heart is to dwell with us! As I stated; the best way to begin dwelling with God is through prayer and alone time with Him. Matthew 6:6 instructs us to go into the secret place. For us to live in this world today, we must have this relationship with God as our protector, counselor and friend. These are only a few of the benefits of dwelling under the Almighty. Lastly, ask the Holy Spirit to tear down anything that’s not of Jesus during prayer time and another reward is removing the temptation of sin and wrong doing isn’t as much of a battle the closer we draw to God.
