Possessions

During my quiet time today I came across this message several times, you only get to keep what you give away! Psalm 23:1 If you have the Lord, you have everything; if you don’t have the Lord, you have nothing. What possessions are you focused on? Is the Lord your greatest possession? To determine the answers, look at where you spend your time and money. I am reminded we can’t take anything with us when we leave this planet, but we can leave this planet better than we found it through our legacy of giving, sharing, and loving. Take an inventory of your highly guarded possessions and ask yourself, am I holding them higher than the Lord or spending more time taking care of these than I am taking care of my soul? The secular world wants to keep us blind to the important things in life; don’t get caught circling the drain with this broken fallen world.
