Disappointment

A question to ask yourself, would you rather be a disappointed or would you rather feel like a disappointment? This is a question I have pondered several times over the years when dealing with broken family members and friends, and my answer is always the same; rather be disappointed. Looking up the word in Webster; defeated in expectation or hope or not adequately equipped. Then it dawned on me, when I feel like I don’t measure up, a feeling comes over me of disappointment and those feelings move to the latter position. It is easily overcome when I remind myself who I am in Christ. I want to encourage you enough to stay in the Word and memorize the Word. This is how we can be disappointed and not be a disappointment! Stay in the Word and speak life out over your situations and life. Go love one more.
