What is Success?

Success is NOT about cars, houses, career, children, possessions or marriage. Success is when Jesus Christ writes your name in HIS Book of life called the Bible. Amen if you believe this! Unfortunately our world keeps us on the treadmill of life chancing the "shiny" stuff. Because the definition of success in this world differs greatly between the Bible and this World. Don't learn everything the hard way like I did.......This writing comes to you on the heals of my oldest daughter, Sydney Elaine Campbell taken home to be with Jesus at 9:15pm 13 years ago today. I use to think success was living in this neighborhood, raising three perfect girls in certain activities, accumulating things I thought I cared about and now give away any chance I can. It took losing almost everything to slow me down, bringing me to my knees to understand what is truly important. Now I spend a lot of time with the Lord, and I listen to myself think, and pay attention to what is played across my movie screen (my brain). Separate yourself from your own reasoning and ask yourself, why am I thinking this way? Is this really the right thing to be dwelling on? Am I filling my brain with the right thoughts, messaging and media? Because if we aren't careful, we become discouraged in our spirit, and fall back into the slavery of chancing and keeping us with the world. Start your day in the Bible and seek God's will for your life. I PROMISE you will NEVER regret it! God bless!
