Obedience

How can a nine letter word impose so much weigh and responsibility? When defining the word "obedience" in todays culture, it is usually married up with the word burden, or "no fun allowed." Take a couple minutes to reflect on the meaning of this word, and how are you applying it today in your life? This time of reflection is an opportunity to begin to understand why the feelings of love, peace and joy are fleeting from your life, and not delivering when operating under the umbrella of disobedience. Approaching obedience shouldn't be a way to avoid negative consequences of disobedience but a time to discover more about how to live a Godly life. Believe me, disobedience is very costly!! The question to ask as we approach a new year, Father, what is my next step of obedience in Your plan for my life. Make 2025 the year of obedience and spending more time in His Word to know the direction for your life. We all know the verse and I've heard it quoted many times, Jeremiah 29:11. Obeying our Father will never disappoint. God Bless!!!!!
