As I draw closer to the Lord, speaking time with Him seeking wisdom and discernment for my life, I discovered something very interesting. For me to receive His help and guidance, I must come into agreement with Him, His Word and others about His Word. As an example, Ephesians 6 talks about the armor of the Lord and instead of reading it to myself, I now read the passage out loud, and come into agreement with the Lord for the sword of of the Spirit, which is the word of God. I speak out my prayers and what the word says about me, I am a child of the most High, I will lean and not borrow, I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me. These verses are my sword as I battle the chaos in my life. Keep in mind, Satan is very sneaky and comes in through various avenues in our lives such as people, items, behaviors, etc. When we seek the Lord's will for our lives these things are pointed out!
