Sanctification!

During my Bible study today, I was reminded of the times we live in and how easily we can be caught up in the secular ways of thinking and operating. The verse of 1 Thessalonians 4 reminds me of the three important characteristics of a Christian life. One, live quietly, second, mind your own affairs, and thirdly, work hard with your hands. As we move through this life, we need to pay close attention to these three principals. With the elections on the horizon, the social media platforms being used as a weapon, and all the slander spoken; how do we proceed. Stay close to His Word, speaking the truth in love, seeking God’s will, and know sanctification is a lifetime process. Don’t get tripped up watching and reading the worlds’ polluted books and movies because 95% of them promoting sexual sin with the immediate pleasures without penality. Our movies and books today are committing all kinds of transgressions; and, of course, they always make it look like their lifes are so much fun. God didn’t create us to behave this way, and the pleasure without penalty is a lie from satan. Stay on the road less traveled and close to Jesus and we know He wins in the end. God Bless!
