Caught in a rip current?

Repentance and confession help keep us walking on a godly path rather than giving in to fleshly desires. Our flesh is naturally sinful, which is why we desperately needed a Savior to restore us and lead us back to God. Even in our brokenness, we are deeply loved sinners; God knows us fully, loves us completely, and calls us to repent and turn away from our evil ways. Sin often works subtly, like a rip current, pulling us farther away little by little until we find ourselves in danger without realizing it. Through repentance, God offers us a way back to safety, grace, and renewed fellowship with Him.
