Where does Time go?

Creating the post today I realized it has been eleven days since my last post. As I reflect on the past eleven days, I am saddened by the amount of memories and time wasted on errands and other meaningless things and thoughts. The book of Ecclesiastes reminds us everything is meaningless, all of our labor and worry, plus there is nothing new under the sun. These statements are harsh but true. Unless we are on the path the Lord has prepared for each one of us, we are taking the long way, and not gaining the understanding, and provisions the Lord has for us. Psalm 32:8-9 states the Lord will instruct you and teach you in the way which we should go; He will advise us! If we aren’t careful, a lot of time, energy and peace is wasted when not under His submission. During my walk, I always found it to be a tremendous comfort knowing the Lord will make my path straight and He is always with me. This prevents me from spending a lot of time circling the drain or carry burdens I am not designed to carry. I am seeking the peace that surpasses ALL understanding. Start today with a commitment to the Lord you want to finish the race well, and encounter the love, peace and joy of daily living and when we are in the middle of the storm.
