Understanding Hurt

We are all broken people living in a broken world, and the recipe for a perfect storm of brokenness and hurt, is the lack of God’s Word. When the lack of God’s Word exist in our life's and we don’t know we are made in His image, our society is quick to label the hurt as a lost person, a depressed/anxiety ridden person, a soul confused about their gender, or diminish our plan the Lord has for us. Also, hurt is the beginning of an avalanche of feelings: hurt turns to bitterness, bitterness turns to harden heart, and a harden heart is the feeling satan uses to perpetuate his agenda. Of course, Scripture should be our first source of knowledge. When we understand and learn God’s Word our perspective is made clear and concise and loneliness, anxiety and depression, and confusion has to flee our souls. Ephesians 4:32, 2 Timothy 2:23-25, Tutus 3:9-11 are just a few verses to help us be set free from satan’s sneaky snare. Keep learning God’s word, and He will make your path straight! Proverbs 3:5-6. Go love one more today!
