Surviving through Tough Times

As we all walk through difficult situations and times, it is imperative Jesus is with us! As we submit our lives to Jesus, and spend time in the Bible seeking His direction for our lives, we start to develop the peace that surpasses all understanding, while being equipped to endure a difficult season. These life saving measures are developed when we spend time in His Word through meditation and prayer. Biblical knowledge, along with a changed heart, will afford us the right response when tragedy strikes. In addition, the Bible promises to use our tough times to draw us closer to Jesus, and develop strong Christ like character. Also, this knowledge affords us the correct response during our tough times to make a huge difference in our health both mental and physical. It is our free will to decide whether were going to let our disappointments, disasters and misfortune develop us or destroy us. It is my prayer, you trust in the Lord with all your heart…..(Proverbs 3:5-6). Our long term peace hinges upon our attitude, and response to our circumstances. I have walked through the valley of the shadow of death (Psalms 23), to arrive at the other side with more boldness for Jesus! With the help of Jesus, I had to determine when I stood back up; who am I going to serve? Where is my focus; heaven or earthly bound? His Word promises us, there is NO heartache, loss or suffering, that His loving hand can’t guide us through fully. It is a daily picking up your cross to move forward; to be the light in the darkness and be part of His Kingdom of Light. May God bless you and keep you, and shine His light on you today! God bless
