Religion

Religion is an interesting word, often used to describe people in the church, yet I believe it is a traditional term that carries little real power. When we ask why we don’t consistently witness the power of God and the Holy Spirit through healing and miracles today, one reason may be that religion can become a counterfeit for the Kingdom of God—full of form but lacking power. Scripture tells us in Isaiah 53 that we are already healed, yet our own words often work against us because we speak what we see and feel rather than what God has promised. When we give voice to worry, anxiety, and fear, we unintentionally place curses over ourselves and our families instead of releasing faith, life, and the truth of God’s Word. The power is in the tongue.
