How do we know if we have humility in ourselves by the evidence that our behavior, actions and words are like Jesus. As believers, we don't lift others up because we think poorly of ourselves. We are able to esteem others because we know who we are in Jesus. When we accepted Jesus into our lives, we were released from the need to struggle to prove we are of value and worry about pleasing others. Never forget, God opposes the proud, but grants favor to the humble. Don't let this world mislead you; a humble person wins out a the end of the day and at the end of this journey called life. God requires us to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly before him. Keep in mind, we are made of dust, but in His image. Lastly, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13....Amen and go be the hands and feet of Jesus today in a broken fallen world.
